Yeovil Country Park Expansion
A project to significantly expand Yeovil Country Park into adjacent land has been agreed in principle increasing the size of Yeovil Country Park by around 62 per cent from 52 to 84 hectares.
Given the inevitable effects this will have, increasing traffic on the Dorchester Road, it is hoped that South Somerset District Council will be more transparent with their plans (especially sticking to them!) than they were about the Rangers Centre.
Communities around Turners Barn Lane, Barwick and East Coker are most likely to be affected.
